Okay, so I honestly thought the SuicideGirls had been around a lot longer.  i remember being in High School/College and seeing imagoes of the Punk Rock Alternative Pinup style models, and it being huge, lol…maybe we were just crazy teenage boys though!?, the company was actually formed in 2001 and is based in good ol’ Alternative Portland Oregon.

The actual term ‘Suicide Girl’ come from the author of Fight Club, Chuck Palahniuk who wrote it in one of his novels as a slang term all in single words, SuicideGirls.

The Burlesque tour started touring back in 2003 and have performed all over the USA with tours to the UK and Australia in addition to an opening act for Guns and Roses when they were on tour. VH1 is currently documenting the travel for an upcoming TV show in production.

…The video is a bit PG–as they have pasties covering the actual private parts–so I felt comfortable putting it on the blog.  The video zooms in at the end to give each SuicideGirl a bit of a spotlight, for those of you creepers watching till the end…lol. I thought the girls were funny on stage when they got the microphone, the DJ was good, and overall was impressed with the dance routines, the crowd really seemed to get behind it to!
